We provided civil and structural engineering services on the new two storey doctors surgery with 40 consultation and treatment rooms and pharmacy building. We also provided Transport  and Flood Risk Assessment pre-planning services along with a BRE pre-demolition survey assessment relating to the existing buildings which were demolished to allow construction of the new facility and parking.   

The project required a BREEAM standard of Very Good and SUDs and recycled water systems were incorporated by using permeable paving. The project was procured on a Two Stage Design and Construct basis and we were novated over to the contractor following services direct to the client.

Steel frame construction was used in conjunction with pre-cast concrete planks to provide a structure with minimal footprint, allowing for maximum revenue return to the client and capacity for future adaptability of the building.
